I’d like to apologize for late/unshipped orders, and general lack of e-mail responses. My mother passed away unexpectedly and it has been VERY traumatic. A big thank you to those of you that have been so patient and kind during this difficult period of my life. I’ve spent a big chunk of time today responding to e-mails and processing some refunds. I have three open orders (Allana, Danielle, & Lasha) that I’m hoping to complete and ship out by the end of next week. After that, I am completely caught up!
Thank you for your understanding…
Much Magic-

I know it’s been a while since I updated the site, so I took some time over the weekend to whip up a few ready-made items for spring shopping. Look for leg warmers in black and white and a Rhiannon top and skirt, both in black. The prices are discounted, so get them while you can!
I’ve got a couple new designs in the works, so check back soon.
Happy Spring!

I’ve added three more items to the Ready Made section today. One is a jacket that I had originally made for Stevie Nicks a few years ago but after I decided to make something else for her, it’s been sitting in my closet ever since. I’ve also made a two piece outfit of a Rhiannon skirt and a Mirage jacket, both in midnight blue lace, and a burnout velvet jacket/vest.

I’ve added two new things today to the Ready Made section. One is a black burnout velvet jacket trimmed in fringe, and the other is a black glittering shoulder cape. I’ve also put a couple things on special, so be sure to check out the sale section!
Peace to all during the holidays…

First of all, thank you to everyone who has sent in compliments on the new site! Thanks to Skybly, it looks fantastic, if I do say so myself.
I bought a brand new sewing machine recently which I’m learning how to use. It has some great embroidery type stitches, so look for some new items featuring that soon.
I added two new items to the Ready Made section today. One is a black burnout velvet shawl and the other is a completely new item called Tulle Time. It’s an empire waist jacket with attached ragged tulle “skirt.” I’ll probably end up adding it to the custom section, but for now it’s one of a kind.
Hope you like them!

Welcome to my brand new website!
Brandi’s Dream has gone through many changes becoming Designs by Bear, and I hope that the new site and attitude will make creating a look for yourself much easier and also more enjoyable.
I have always believed that fashion reflects our inner personality as individuals, and have used that as a basis to begin this company. When I went to fashion design school I was always told what couldn’t be done, what kinds of things I was allowed to design, where I would be able to work, which was basically for someone else. The world of high fashion can be quite stifling as I quickly found out, and I’m not someone that takes well to being told what I can’t accomplish with my own life and dreams.
Fashion is everywhere, not just the runways and trendiest New York nightclubs. It’s in the streets, on the television, the local high school, at the mall. We as consumers are bigger than the New York or LA scenes, and we are mighty. We come from all walks of life and don’t need someone in an office a thousand miles away to dictate to us what we want to wear. We can make up our own minds, be who we want to be and not what someone else wants us to be. That’s where I find inspiration in myself, to be different, to help others achieve what it is that they want in their own dreams.
I want to redesign the world of fashion as I see it. We are all of us artists. We sew, we paint, we write, we’re performers, parents, children. Our hearts are wild and we defy molds and break barriers. If you have ever watched a high fashion runway show and thought, “Where can anyone possibly wear that?” then this site is for you.
This section will be for updates on things I’m currently working on, new design sketches that I have in mind, commentary on fashion trends I see around me, and possibly new products from other places for you to check out. There are many exciting things to come, so stay tuned!
